About me
Liucija Alisauskaite
Journalism Student
Liucija Alisauskaite is a Journalism Student at Vilnius University.
In high school, she was a President of Students Parliament. While in this role, Liucija organized many events, met a lot of various people and improved communication and rhetoric skills by leading the team. Then she realized that she got a real buzz while doing such activities and decided that Journalism could be the place where she could express herself.
She is considered a trustworthy journalist because of her excellent writing skills and experiences of the media area: she was a reporter in her high school TV show and her hometown newspaper. She is a very passionate person, who is enthusiastic to communicate, get information and inform people. This is one of the most important qualities for journalism, because only a passionate person will be able to do the job properly.
Liucija is a very altruistic person. She gives away her undesirable clothes to churches and voluntees in organizations, such as food banks. During every Christmas season, she bakes pies, sells them, and donates the profits to charity. In 2018, she cut off her hair and donate it to The Little Princess Trust organization, which provides real hair wigs to people who have lost their own hair due to cancer.
